Information presented in this publication includes prior research concerning the importance of media portrayal and crime, definitions of sexual assault and harassment, and sexual harassment and assault within the U.S. military. Using inductive qualitative content analysis, findings reveal experiences of sexual harassment, retaliation, and a culture of violence, with implications for policy and practice.
